The first of its kind in India, 1st Intra & Inter School Powerpoint Presentation Contest 2002 - 2003 was flagged off in Kolkata, India in October 2002.
The child centric below the line marketing activity was the brainchild of Deep Banerjee, Marketingpundit.com.
The contest was carried out over a period of 7 months. Over 680 children from 19 prominent ICSE / CBSE schools in Kolkata and suburbs participated.
The Inter School round of the contest was won by St.Xavier's Collegiate School in the Junior Group (represented by Classes 4 - 6) and Frank Anthony Public School in the Senior Group (represented by Classes 7 - 9).
The activity was actively supported by: Goodlass Nerolac Paints Ltd, Supertron Electronics Ltd, ITC Ltd (Foods Division) and others.
Appreciate the uniqueness of the Powerpoint Presentation Contest and the digitally printed A3 sized Poster (Clue Sheet) of Goodlass Nerolac Paints which were displayed in schools for over 3 months.
